About the Role

We’re looking for a Business Support Analyst, NEC, to play a key role in shaping the future of workplace operations in one of Maersk’s most dynamic regions.This is more than an administrative role, it is a chance to support the transformation of the Business Support Services (BSS) function, driving process harmonization, data transparency, and vendor oversight across the NEC region, which includes Austria, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, and Switzerland.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational & Administrative Excellence
  • Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to statutory and internal compliance requirements across the NEC region.
  • Provide structured support for general administrative activities, enhancing consistency and visibility at a regional level.
Data Integrity & Reporting
  • Build and maintain dashboards and Management Information System (MIS) reports to support performance tracking and decision-making.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency, proactively flagging deviations.
  • Support the release of key reporting decks (e.g., Capacity Insights) to senior leadership.
  • Contribute to the development of robust data governance practices across BSS NEC.
Documentation & SOP Harmonization
  • Lead the development, maintenance, and alignment of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the NEC region.
  • Coordinate with country-level stakeholders to ensure consistency, adoption, and alignment across brands and geographies.
Knowledge Management & Internal Communication
  • Establish and maintain a centralized, structured repository for all contracts, SOPs, and key BSS documentation.
  • Act as the communication owner for the BSS NEC function, ensuring timely updates of the SharePoint site and related platforms.
Project & Vendor Management
  • Participate in BSS-related projects such as office openings/closures, relocations, vendor transitions, and footprint optimization.
  • Contribute to pilots, root cause analyses, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee vendor contract lifecycle, ensuring visibility of expiration dates and notice periods.
  • Ensure SLAs and KPIs are clearly defined, tracked, and embedded into all vendor contracts.

Travel RequirementsWhile this role is primarily based in Poland and does not require extensive travel, the incumbent must be open and available to travel occasionally within the NEC region (Austria, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland) should business needs arise, particularly to support key projects, regional workshops, or cross-country coordination efforts.Why Join Us?
