System Engineer with French

• Location: Katowice (hybrid model of work)
• Type of employment: employment contract
• Project language: French and English

• Monitoring business applications and responding to Level 2/3 incidents
• Handling service requests and change management
• Updating operational documentation (DEX)
• Managing on-call duties, including outside regular business hours
• Understanding and working within the business and technical context
• Participating in Reinforced Run activities for critical business applications
• Communicating directly with business sponsors when needed
• Maintaining and analyzing application architectures

• Proven experience working with Linux, AIX, and Windows operating systems
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting, and familiarity with Ansible for automation tasks
• Hands-on knowledge of job scheduling and orchestration tools (e.g., CTRLM or similar)
• Experience with monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace, with an understanding of proactive incident detection
• Working knowledge of middleware technologies like Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, Weblogic, or SSIE
• Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly Oracle and PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with containerization concepts

• Exposure to cloud platforms at practitioner level, particularly AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitLab CI
• Familiarity with ITSM tools, such as ServiceNow
