- Utilize a technology stack anchored in C++ and Delphi, guiding the strategic shift towards C# to deliver exceptional software solutions.
- Lead and support a cross-site engineering team (Wrocław + Bangalore), ensuring clarity, focus, and alignment around goals.
- Collaborate with product and QA leaders to deliver features and enhancements in line with customer and business needs.
- Manage team performance, career development, and retention by providing continuous feedback, mentorship, and growth opportunities.
- Create a healthy, inclusive engineering culture that prioritizes code quality, ownership, and iterative delivery.
- Guide the team through architectural and technical transitions in coordination with senior engineers and architects.
- Improve processes, delivery cadence, and cross-functional communication using agile best practices.
- Participate in hiring and scaling the team in alignment with strategic growth plans.
- 8+ years of experience in software development organizations, with at least 2-3 years in engineering management or technical leadership roles.
- Proven ability to lead distributed teams, manage performance, and deliver results through others.
- Experience working on or managing desktop application teams is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with compiled languages and large-scale codebases (e.g., C++, Delphi, C#, Java) is a strong asset - even if you're not coding hands-on.
- Strong understanding of agile principles, CI/CD pipelines, and team scaling practices.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English (B2 or higher); experience working in a global organization is a plus.
