Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth financial operations and contribute to our continuous improvement efforts.How you will make an impactOur Source to Pay (S2P) department keeps that system running smoothly by managing cash flow and paying vendors. We are searching for an Accountant with Danish join our accounts payable team to be part of the process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The accounts payable specialist will have both a day-to-day impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.Your main tasks would be:
  • Verification of incoming documents
  • Handling PO and non-PO invoices and credit notes in SAP (workflow handling, manual postings, cancellations)
  • Answering incoming e-mails and phone calls
  • Registration of incoming reminders
  • Finding trigger for bank details change and ensure completeness of documentation
  • Posting Special Invoice types (whey, utilities, Milk etc. phone bills, council taxes, contract invoices)
  • GL and Vendor Account reconciliation
  • Direct debit account handling
  • Handling of discrepancies (Escalate price and quantity discrepancies)
  • GR/IR account reconciliation
  • Monitoring and clearing open items on vendor ledger
  • Foreign currency valuation
  • Interests Notes handling
  • Supporting junior accountants in more complex cases
Additionally, part of your role will involve actively participating in process improvement projects and providing support to your direct supervisor in other assigned tasks.What will make you successfulWe are looking for someone, who:
  • Is a graduate / student in finance and accounting or similar area
  • Has high interpersonal and communication skills
  • Has approximately 2 years of experience, including at least 1 year in finance or accounting
  • Is team oriented and represents proactivity in dealing with issues
  • Shows positive attitude and engagement
  • Is open to change and improvements
  • Speaks English and Danish fluently
