- Promote the use of BPM tools to improve workflows and system integration.
- Chair the Design Authority to govern technology decisions.
- Ensure architecture supports a retail-focused, product-centric IT model.
- Provide oversight on technical risks, compliance, and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks and standards.
- Ensure architectural alignment with IT strategy, business objectives, and product roadmaps.
- Lead the Design Authority to oversee technology decisions.
- Work with product teams to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
- Provide expertise in integration, data, cloud, and automation architectures.
- Assess and recommend new technologies that fit business and IT goals.
- Oversee technical debt management and legacy system evolution.
- Coach teams on architecture best practices and frameworks.
- Collaborate with IT leadership and finance to ensure value-driven IT investments.
- Ensure IT solutions meet security, compliance, and regulatory standards.
- Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Enterprise architecture certification (e.g. TOGAF).
- Training in cloud, microservices, and integration platforms.
- Experience with BPM tools and process modelling.
- Agile or product-centric IT delivery certification .
- 10+ years in enterprise or solution architecture.
- Experience in large-scale retail IT environments.
- Strong background in cloud, integration, and automation architectures.
- Experience advising senior leadership on IT strategy.
- Experience chairing governance boards or architecture reviews.
- Deep expertise in architectural frameworks, cloud, and integration strategies.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Ability to balance innovation with operational stability.
- Commercially astute, ensuring value for money and commercially robust design.
