This is not just a job focused on numbers – it’s a leadership role for someone who wants to make a real impact on process development and workplace culture.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsuring the accuracy of financial reporting – in compliance with Polish Accounting Standards (PSR), and IFRS if applicableLeading the accounting team – providing support and fostering the development of team membersSupervising tax returns – VAT, CIT, and other obligations, ensuring accuracy and timely submissionManaging month-end and year-end closing processes – including preparation of annual financial statementsRepresenting the company during audits and tax inspectionsSupporting budgeting and forecasting processes – delivering reliable data and analysis to managementImplementing and optimizing internal controlsMonitoring changes in tax, accounting, and labor regulations – and ensuring the company adjusts accordinglyOverseeing the General Ledger – reviewing and reconciling accounting entriesManaging accounts receivable and payableEnsuring compliance with transfer pricing (TP) regulations and mandatory disclosure rules (MDR)RequirementsProven experience in independently managing accounting books, year-end closings, audits, and tax reportingExcellent knowledge of Polish Accounting Standards (PSR); familiarity with IFRS is a strong advantageSolid understanding of tax regulations – including VAT, CIT, transfer pricing, and MDRExperience in team management – mentoring and team development skills are highly valuedAnalytical and process-oriented mindset – with a drive for process optimizationStrong cross-functional collaboration and the ability to effectively communicate financial matters to non-financial stakeholdersGood command of English for daily communication (minimum B2 level)Familiarity with ERP systems and experience in international or SSC/GBS environments will be considered a plus
