As a Purchasing Manager you are responsible for the procurement of key materials from national and international suppliers, managing purchasing processes and your team of specialists.Responsibilities / TasksContribute to overall SCM strategy and propose a plan for a purchasing strategy and implement itLeading the purchasing department to have the most cost-effective operative materials in the right quantities, at the right quality, at the right time, at the right place in the factoryContinuously develop and maintain purchasing organization (processes, systems (SAP) and employees (skills) to improve competencies and performanceBuild, maintain and actively develop relationship with vendors and other stakeholdersActively monitoring and managing purchasing ordersSupervising the timely delivery and proper inventory along value chainActively steer, monitor and report on supply chain KPI’sEnsure processes and procedures are compliant with GEA standards and comply with law and regulationsEnsuring compliance of HSE regulationsManage and motivate the purchasing teamFollow market trends, its opportunities and riskClose exchange and comply in with strategic purchasing departmentYour Profile / QualificationsMaster’s degree (preferred: Economics, Logistics)5+ experience on a similar positionHands on experience in purchasing, implementation of purchasing processes, building up relationship with suppliersInterpersonal and communication skills, ability to influence,Negotiations skillsLeadership (motivate a team, delegate, supervise tasks realization)Very good analytical capabilities, problem-solving skillsFluent in Polish and EnglishTarget achievement orientatedDid we spark your interest?
