Successfully completed a degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a comparable field of study
Several years of professional experience in the backend development of web-based, scalable systems and applications.
In-depth knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and AWS as well as SQL-based databases, e.g. PostgreSQL.
Experience in the development, deployment, and operation of distributed systems, and you are familiar with technologies such as Docker, Kafka, and Terraform.
Extensive experience in e-commerce, especially with payment processes like authorizations, captures, refunds or have integrated payment providers like Adyen, Stripe, PayPal.
High degree of quality awareness, meaning that in addition to unit and integration tests, you are comfortable with static code analysis and performance tests, enabling a culture of continuous deployment within the team.
Thinking outside the box and, beyond pure backend development/architecture, you are also interested in other areas (e.g., frontend, DevOps, security, process optimization, ...), you actively pursue further training in these fields and contribute your knowledge to the team.
Fluent communication skills in English and Polish
