Additionally, you will provide in-country-on-ground leadership support across the Poland Technology Centre, driving all engineering activities.Your new roleHelp drive the Engineering Strategy of GPB&W to focus on Cloud, API, SRE, Digital Platform and foster innovation programmes across the domain teams supporting GPB&W.Ensure high quality code and data, good practices, and continuous improvement.Provide specialist technical knowledge and experience, championing DevOps and Agile practices. Monitor and improve engineers' productivity. Provide support in identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service.Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered.Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cybersecurity and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable.Provide training and development opportunities where required.What you'll need to succeed10 years or more overall IT experience with Knowledge Java, Cloud technologies such as AWSExperience with Java, web based technologies (JavaScript framework, HTML5, CSS),Experience of Web Services (REST, SOAP).
