- Provide strategic oversight and governance of McCormick's global server, storage, and cloud infrastructure-including systems such as Windows, Unix/Linux, VMware, Nutanix, Citrix, Active Directory, storage &backup platforms, and Azure cloud services.
- Lead the relationship management and performance governance of MSPs and infrastructure vendors, ensuring service quality, contract compliance, and proactive SLA management.
- Drive disciplined execution of ITSM processes such as event, incident, problem, change, configuration, lifecycle, and capacity management-enabling operational stability, scalability, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the modernization of infrastructure services by guiding solution architecture, supporting project implementation, and ensuring alignment with long-term technology and business strategies.
- Act as a trusted liaison between Infrastructure Services and business leadership, translating organizational needs into IT outcomes while fostering transparent, two-way communication across global regions and teams.
- Manage the infrastructure operations budget with a focus on transparency, efficiency, and alignment to business priorities.
- Ensure operational controls and compliance through structured risk management practices, including SOX audits, evidence collection, and security adherence.
- Develop and maintain governance frameworks, standard operating procedures, and performance dashboards to enable effective oversight and informed decision-making.
- Provide leadership to internal and external technical teams, ensuring alignment with McCormick's strategic direction, operational standards, and delivery commitments.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience (15+ years).
- At least 10 years of experience managing IT operations in a global enterprise environment, including 8+ years with a focus on service delivery, governance, and project execution.
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams, driving accountability across a matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated experience managing MSPs and IT vendors, including contract oversight, escalation handling, SLA enforcement, and performance management.
- Strong command of ITSM practices and frameworks (e.g., ITIL), with experience embedding service management into operational culture.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging across all levels of the organization-both technical and non-technical.
- Calm, customer-oriented approach to high-stakes situations, with a strategic, solution-focused mindset.
- Experience shaping and executing infrastructure strategies aligned with business goals.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Project or Program Management experience (PMP or equivalent preferred).
- Experience operating hybrid cloud infrastructure environments.
- Certifications in ITIL, cloud computing, or infrastructure-related technologies.
