- Consulting and supporting business and IT departments to implement security policies and requirements such as Application Security, Network - Security (Firewall Management), etc.
- Vulnerability Management: working with Security Vulnerabilities and remediation activities
- Risk management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks.
- Monitoring and analysis: Continuous coordination of IT infrastructure monitoring and analysis of security incidents.
- Training and awareness: Conducting training and awareness campaigns for employees to increase security awareness.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements as well as internal security standards and coordinate within the Information Security organization.
- Create transparency and ensure compliance regarding cyber security strategy, goals and KPIs within the area of responsibility.
- Ensure continuous improvement of the Information Security organization.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on the status and progress of information security initiatives to management.
- Handle escalation processes for information security incidents and issues within the Information Security organization.
- Coordinate responses to security incidents, including ensuring investigation and remediation and ensure effective communication across divisions.
- Plan and coordinate cyber security auditsQualifications- Completed studies in (business) informatics, information technology, or extensive professional experience in the IT or cybersecurity field.
- Fluent English communication skills. German is an added advantage
- Minimum 3+ years practical experience in information security
- Deep understanding of cyber security requirements and best practices
- Information Security certification ISO 27001 is a must. Further certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc. are an added advantage
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills and proven project management skills
- Effective communication skills to liaise with various divisions and ensure compliance.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement in security processes and practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively and coordinate a global team.
- Good technical comprehension and understanding of technical relationships.
- Negotiation skills and strong goal and result orientation.
- Ability to prepare detailed and insightful management reports.
- Strong problem-solving skills to manage escalations effectively.
