Purpose of the positionShape your journey onboard and offshore with us MacGregor is a leader in sustainable maritime cargo and load handling with a wide portfolio of products, services and solutions.Building on our extensive oil & gas expertise, we are developing a strong position as a provider of offshore renewable energy solutions.We are looking for a motivated Structural Analyst preferable with experience in the offshore and marine industry to join our skilled team in Gdańsk.Main tasks and responsibilities

Ensure that the structural integrity of the products are according to customer and class society requirements
Provide necessary structural documentation
Participate during the entire design phase and collaborate actively with the mechanical engineering team to find the best solutions
Proactively update all relevant parties on progress and possible risks in the projects
Participate in both the tender- and project phase
Work closely with the other engineering disciplines
Be a role model with good work practices

What you'll need to succeed

University degree (MSc / BSc), engineering, or equivalent.
Relevant software experience (Ansys, Inventor, beam element programs, Excel, Mathcad etc) is an advantage
Able to understand and work with offshore standards (DNV, ABS, CCS, BV etc)
Strong communication and team-working skills across locations and countries
Ability to plan and manage workload effectively
Independent
Fluent in both written and spoken English
