Design, Development and Maintenance of data integration and Power BI solutions
Support for the business in all matters related to new data models and data solutions in general
Support for database administrators in defining and implementing new data structures
Planning capacity and availability of databases, tuning and optimization
Taking part in standby duty (on-call rotation) for 24/7 support for critical data processing systems
Collaborating closely with other teams in DOS Sector (infra, networks, systems etc.)
Developing and implementing best practices for deploying and managing new data solutions
Creating and maintaining documentation for operational processes, procedures, and configurations.
Supporting development teams across our growing development, UAT, and production environments in relation to data processing technologies
Support in transition from silos data approach (separate databases) into new data approach (big data)

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in data warehouse design and development
Active Security Clearance is mandatory
Working knowledge of English: B2 or higher level.
Data warehouse design and developmentBusiness intelligence report design and implementationAdvanced SQL capabilities, including performance tuning, complex joins, and stored procedures
Expertise in design, creation and optimisation of databases
Experience in communication with business stakeholders, gathering business requirements and converting them into data and or BI-related technical requirements
Experience in ETL/ELT development and optimisation
Expertise in management of MS SQL Server and Power BI Report ServerExpertise in design and development of large tabular modelsExpertise in design, development and maintenance of reports and BI solutions
Expertise in the integration of data from various sources (databases, XML, flat files, etc.)
Works unassisted and guides junior staffWrites specifications, concept documents, end user and technical documentation; communicates effectively with stakeholders on technical and user requirements matters
