- Analyses local market of injection molding and different ‘surfaces on plastic’ technologies, defines potential competitive suppliers, that match to technology/quality profile and commodity commercial standards.
- In cooperation with global commodity and supplier development team evaluates risks (Supplier Risk Assessment) and releases new suppliers for future RFQ’s;
- Identifies, plans and proactively implements cost-saving measures for the serial purchased parts in his area of responsibility
- Calculates and proposes for management approval annual budget for purchased parts in his area of responsibility, responsible for delivering approved budget
- Ensures reserve of sufficient capacities at suppliers for non-catalogue parts
- Contributes to development of regional sourcing strategies based on his local expertise, ensures that local demands will be considered for regional /global negotiations
- Nominates suppliers in case of significant changes to serial purchased parts’ demands/specifications
- Driving implementation at supplier serial engineering changes for purchase parts
- Negaotiate with suppliers local contracts or global KOSTAL terms and conditions;
- Ensures correctness of Purchasing master data in KOSTAL legacy system;
- Supports Logistics and Supplier Quality teams in case of escalations and supplier underperformance;
- Participates in decisions for supplier nominations for life time demands;
- Signs purchasing commitmenmts on behalf of KOSTAL within t helimits of delegated authority
- Higher technical education (preferred direction Mechanical, Industrial). Higher economic education with sound experience in technical purchasing can be an alternative
- 3+ years of related experience. The Automotive Sector is preferred.
- Advanced market and macroeconomics analysis skills;
- Advanced commercial-technical negotiation skills;
- Advanced Supplier relationship management;
- Proficiency in should cost / cost breakdown analysis;
- Basic project management skills;
- Basic knowledge of the principles of technical drawing and ability to read technical documentation;
- Basic knowledge of technology (injection molding, painting/chroming of plastic parts);
- Competence in working in interdisciplinary and international teams. Teamwork.

- Analytical and creative mindset to generate opportunities for continuous improvement of project financial results in the area of purchased parts
- Flexibility. Willingness to work in a dynamic and multitask environment.
- Strategic thinking, balancing global and local deliverables
- English – C1 and Polish – native or C1 - it is necessary, other languages will be an advantage
- Ready for often business trips.
- remotly work only one/two days in month in Świdnik/ n Lublin (Poland)
