The role takes ownership of planning and stocking policies for all items needed in the different production sites, manages collection of key data from multiple sources/systems towards the BU, develops efficient data collection process to facilitate data gathering. Also provides analytical support and information across the area ans is driving standardization and area use of the main SC tools. The tasks also include: the sales forecasts, new business opportunities, customer expectations and internal supply constraints will be used to develop production plans, by month, for a rolling three month period. Strong collaboration with the Plant Managers, Operations, Sales, Customer Service and Management will be critical to meeting business goalsResponsibilities:Replenish and support business segments.Responsible for the level and the status of “remote” inventories (Optimize stock levels and availability of all products without products getting aged or expired).Coordinate all communication regarding Slow Moving and Obsolete inventory.Update monthly replenishment templates with the latest demand numbers.Support new product introduction and product exit process for all items.Assist Sales support with data when preparing for new productions sites.Communicate relevant sales information from field with Demand Manager and Supply Chain Manager.Support the Senior Demand Planner on data collection, analysis, and reporting.In depth analysis of SKU level data to identify trends to support the forecast.Communicating with sales team to help support forecast process.Produce and distribute weekly / monthly reports.Manage and maintain SKU forecast data in the Demand Planning tool (Blue Yonder) * Perform supply demand analysis each month, highlighting areas of concern for the next 12 months. Utilize the production capacity, taking into consideration the sales forecast, historical sales, inventories, obsolescence, lead times, product life cycles and new business opportunities
  • Project finished goods inventory levels on a monthly basis. Achieve desired corporate inventory turn targets
  • Monitor actual output versus the Master Production Plan. Identify gaps and drive solutions, including a metric on production performance to the requested production schedule
Qualifications:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Familiarity and enthusiasm for data analysis or statistics
  • Demonstrated experience in scheduling preferred
  • Computer Experience (Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Advanced Excel skills is a must
  • Other ERP experience such as Oracle, SAP, etc. would be a plus
