We work directly with the Open-Source community to share comprehensive support, updates and documentation.Work with cutting edge technologyThis role involves testing and automating reliable, user-friendly software solutions. Build tools for configuring Akamai products via Terraform, CLI, and more. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases.As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET I), you will be responsible for:

Writing high-quality test cases, building automation, and executing tests for Terraform Provider and Akamai CLI.
Demonstrating flexibility in learning new languages and utilizing software development skills for tools creation.
Understanding product requirements and ensuring that they are covered as part of the implementation.
Collaborating in an Agile environment and influencing through code reviews, design discussion and product development.

Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:

Demonstrate experience using programming languages like Go, Python, or comparable options.
Adapt and learn new technologies or programming languages based on project requirements.
Understand REST API testing and Terraform alongside Infrastructure as Code concepts.
Utilize Linux/Unix environments and Git for scripting, development, and system operations.
Have experience of working in an Agile Team when developing products through the SDLC.
Be detail-oriented with good written and verbal communication skills.
