At least 4 years of experience with the following programming languages: Python, Scala and/or Java - any combination of the above is acceptable
At least 3 years of experience with SQL
4+ years hands-on data engineering experience
Good understanding and knowledge of Data
2+ years of experience in cloud computing (any of Azure, AWS or GCP)
Experience with workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow or comparable tools (e.g., Prefect, Dagster)
Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks such as Apache Beam or Apache Spark
Attention to detail, ability to work independently, communication skills
English – fluent, both written and spoken

Nice to have:

BSc or MSc in Computer Science / Statistics / Math / Engineering
2+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (especially with BigQuery)
Experience with CI/CD (like Gitlab or Github)
Experience with containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
Experience in processing hundreds of terabytes of data using distributed pipelines
Experience with pandas or similar
Structures and Algorithms, like: Data Structures: Lists, Stacks, Queues, Tree, Maps/Dictionaries, Graphs. Algorithms: Sorting, Searching, Shortest Path, Recursion, Hashing
