We're looking for someone interested in learning and helping us:
- build new analyses and solutions using R, Python, PowerBI, SQL, R Shiny, AKS, Azure OpenAI, etc. (we don't expect you to be master of all of those, but affinity to programming, data, and desire to learn is critical)
- collaborate effectively with our team of fellow data scientists, and also with users and business stakeholders, and senior leadership. You will need to communicate well, think critically, be project manager for your own projects, deliver training and support on tools you build.
- go on "bug-hunts" and otherwise help improve team's infrastructure to deliver projects and analyses in structured, efficient manner.

We're responsible for Insights and Analytics for the Sales organisation of UBS AM and beyond. As a Data Scientist, you'll play an important role in helping people (from top management to sales team-leaders and sales people) making data-driven business decisions, in efficient, user-friendly way.Your team is part of Client Coverage within UBS Asset Management. - Student status
- Basic coding skills in R or Python, especially for working with data.
- Familiarity with SQL for data extraction (advanced knowledge is a plus, but not required).
- Experience using a dashboarding tool, ideally Power BI. • • If you've used Tableau and are open to learning Power BI, that's great too!
- Nice to have: exposure to R Shiny, Azure, AKS, or OpenAI models-but not mandatory.
- A structured and practical mindset, with a focus on getting things done.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills-you'll be working with both technical and non-technical colleagues, so being able to explain your ideas clearly is important.
- Interest in presenting your work and contributing to team discussions or small projects.
