This role could be your perfect fit.About the RoleAs a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining a scalable, secure, and cost-efficient data platform on AWS. You will work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and product teams to enable the development of Data and AI products. Your focus will be on infrastructure, automation, and platform capabilities that support both technical and non-technical usersWhat You’ll Be Doing
- Build and maintain a self-serve data platform using AWS services, Terraform, and
- Implement and manage data mesh principles to support domain-oriented data
- Ensure platform scalability, observability, and cost optimization.
- Implement data governance practices including cataloging, lineage, and access
- Support platform users and promote best practices across teams.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda, IAM, EKS,
- Proficiency in Terraform , Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CICD.
- Experience with deploying Databricks in AWS.
- Understanding of data lakehouse and medallion architecture.
- Experience with Airflow deployment on AKS.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes setup and operations.
- Knowledge of data mesh concepts and implementation.
- Programming skills in Python.
- Experience working in agile/Scrum delivery teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
