- Set standards in scope of the design, development, quality and testing of the projects
- Design the system architecture and effectively communicate it to the rest of the team and the client stakeholders
- Transfer business, users and technical needs into an architecture design. Elicit and analyse requirements
- Map business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, system features and identify options for potential solutions. Select and evaluate technologies
- Analyse existing systems and design interoperability and interfaces with other systems. Optimise the system from performance, security and quality points of view
- Maintain and track the architecture during the systems lifecycle
- Estimate the size of the software development works, lead the development teams and development processes. Collect and interpret system metrics
- Contribute to the systems design, testing, quality assurance and change management
- Prepare the system documentation and provide presentations for client stakeholders
- Long-term cooperation with the client implementing projects for the largest players in the banking, insurance, telco and more sectors

- Java EE 6 Enterprise Architect Certification or equivalent
- Second cycle higher education degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering (PhD is a plus)
- Expertise in JBoss 9 EAP/Wildfly 9 AS and above or any other JEE 6/7/8 compliant application server
- Expertise with relational database with one or more of the following: MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL is required, with strong SQL skills
- Presents the capability to guide and consult business stakeholders
- Proficient in UML and systems modelling tools (Enterprise Architect)
- Ability to document effectively
- Expert in software development methodologies, lifecycles and artefacts (in particular in Agile methodologies)
- Experience working in Scrum/Agile
- High communication skills in English (in reading and in writing, minimum C1, as English is the working language)
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Design skills including the ability to draw up accurate specifications that could be effectively utilised by development teams
- Expertise with data mesh concepts and software platforms implementing them such as Cloudera
- Proficiency in ArchiMate 2/3 modelling language specification
- Knowledge of business intelligence, and Integrated Development, GIS services (WMS, ArcGIS)
- Integrated Development Environments(IntelliJ IDEA)
- Understanding of border management and border surveillance domains
