Each year, close to 100 million people have a better day because of our medicines.Your roleYou will be responsible for providing ongoing functional support, troubleshooting, development, and enhancement of existing and new website platforms, with a specific focus on supporting and advancing our commercial website solutions. This involves designing, implementing, and maintaining web-based platforms to drive business growth and improve user experience. Key responsibilities include assessing and configuring functionalities and solutions on LEO website platforms. Additionally, the role serves as a technical advisor to external stakeholders and acts as the main point of contact for addressing technical challenges and IT support activities.In this role you will:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for website solutions.
- Create system and technical solution documentation, including detailed specifications, diagrams, and user manuals.
- Develop, test, and deploy commercial website features and functionalities.
- Work with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, IT, and external vendors) to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business goals.
- Monitor website performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to enhance user experience.
- Provide ongoing support for existing website solutions, including 2nd-level support to resolve functional and system issues.
- Design technical solutions that meet business requirements, focusing on scalability, security, and usability.
- Act as a subject matter expert for IT systems and tools within Commercial, with a specific focus on websites.
- Communicate relevant website application matters to stakeholders and manage website change requests in collaboration with business representatives.
- Relevant work experience preferably within the pharmaceutical industry
- Bachelor or higher degree in computer science, engineering, natural science, business, or similar.
- Solid experience (2-4 years) within technical support
- Website experience is an advantage.
- Proven experience in web development and support, preferably in a commercial environment.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and backend technologies.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and e-commerce platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of SEO, web analytics, and user experience best practices is a plus.
- Experience with cloud-based hosting and deployment.
- Understanding of API integrations and third-party tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience in creating documentation such as user requirements, test scripts and project plans.
- Fully proficient in both written and spoken English
- Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
- Functional and technical understanding of relevant solutions and integration with third party, on premise and cloud-based platforms is a plus.
