This role plays a key part in ensuring that data management practices align with business objectives while maintaining a high standard of design quality, ensuring dependencies are considered and compliance requirements are met within their functional cluster.
Main goal is to guide and support Data Owner as Coach, within the Data Cluster (Logistics).If you want to be a part of keeping the world moving, KION Business Services is the right place!What we offer:Hybrid work & Flexible Working HoursPrivate medical care in LuxMed GroupMyBenefit Cafeteria Platform (with Multisport card available)Group Life InsuranceEmployee referral programProfessional trainings in your area of responsibilitySharing the costs of foreign language courses4 hours off work per year for health check-ups ("Dzień na U")No dress codePossibility of growth inside of an organizationCompany co-sponsored learning & development opportunitiesTasks and Qualifications:Your Responsibility:Accountable to ensure consistency between solution design of data objects in scope, specifically: processes, business rules, data model and data quality metrics within the process definition and data lifecycle topics.Accountable to enable a seamless solution design across data objects (e.g., ensuring conversion design with FMDs/MDD)Responsible for Strategy & Roadmap in the respective clusterResponsible for ensuring legal compliance and separation of tasks and support in the definition/ further development of status management and development of existing & generation of new data sources within data lifecycle topicConducting regular alignments with Data Object Owners, tracking progress of deliverablesCommunicate from Data Management Tower to Data Object OwnersSupports at a strategic level with regards of vision and strategy, object and portfolio management, organizational (re-) design, communication and change managementSupports in the technology and architecture topic, being consulted in the classification and system-related documentationGives support in the authorization concept, documentation of guidelines, release management and implementation planning, being consulted in the communication of implementation plan.Your Skills and Expertise:Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in data management, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field5+ years of experience in SCM, logistics, data governance, or master data management rolesIn-depth functional knowledge of data design, especially about data- & BPM processesStrong knowledge of data flows across system landscape and business rules to improve data qualityStrong understanding of data management principles (e.g., MDM, Data Quality, Data Migration, Governance)Proven experience in Logistics Data Objects and Processes or related projectsGood understanding of existing technology architecture and systems involvedEffective & proactive communicator with proven management capabilities and experience leading cross-functional data projects or initiativesAgile project management skillsStrong background in managing data within ERP/EAM systemsFluent English—both written and spoken — is mandatory.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in master data management or logistics rolesPrior experience in warehouse automation systems and logistics process integrationPrevious involvement in data migration, system implementation, or S4HANA upgradesIf you have any questions - feel free to contactApply for the role and join us!
