- Lead a team of credit professionals supporting all divisions across Europe, the Middle East, and India.
- Oversee credit exposure, ensure effective trade debt collection, and support credit risk assessments.
- Ensure all credit operations in EAMEI comply with global policies and standards, while remaining cost-effective and value-adding to the business.
- Balance long-term strategy with short-term execution, managing both detailed tasks and high-level objectives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and efficiency within the team.
- Promote the adoption of technology, creating an environment where people and digital tools work seamlessly together.
- Collaborate with business divisions to raise awareness of credit management goals and proactively resolve customer issues.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including supply chain, customer service, and legal to support shared business objectives.
- Provide regular management reporting on team performance and progress against defined KPIs.
- Support staff growth through targeted training and development initiatives.
- A master’s degree in finance or accounting, providing a strong academic foundation for financial decision-making.
- At least 10+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally within the chemical or manufacturing industry.
- Practical experience in working with credit agency reporting and interpreting external credit data.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills such as German, French, Italian, or Spanish are a strong plus.
- Proficiency in SAP. SAP FSCM and SAP Hana experience is a plus.
- Solid skills in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with tools like Power BI, Alteryx, Celonis, or Robotics is considered a plus.
- A proven track record of successfully delivering on key responsibilities in credit management and team leadership.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with in-depth experience in financial statement analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including previous experience managing and developing teams.
