You will join a team of Technical program managers that lead complex technical programs that advance Akamai's Cloud Computing Technology.Partner with the bestAs a Technical Program Manager II, you'll work with our product delivery teams by aligning goals with Product Management and Engineering leadership and their teams. You will plan, communicate, execute, and deliver major programs, products, and solutions.As a Technical Program Manager II, you will be responsible for:
- Leading cross-functional program teams through the formulation and execution of program plans, strategies, and functions
- Identifying, assessing, mitigating risks arising from variety of situations including those that arise from dependencies between groups
- Demonstrating skills in communicating program and project statuses to all levels of the organization
- Ensuring clarity, building relationships with stakeholders, embracing agility, and collaboratively designing solutions to meet business objectives
- Supporting the product line teams, managing backlogs, resolving issues, and managing changes in the roadmap
- Creating well-crafted messages to build consensus and/or enhance collaboration both inside and outside of the division
- Demonstrate expertise in technical program management with focus on software development or IT industry experience.
- Have experience as Project/ Program Manager or Transformation Leader working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Have extensive experience in identifying and managing project dependencies while maintaining accurate project plans with real-time milestone
- Be comfortable navigating ambiguity, handling risks, and shifting gears as needed
- Be able to inspire people at all levels of the organization without formal authority
