about the roleAs a Big Data Engineer at Orange you will use your expertise in the field of Data solutions and data pipeline development to enable the processing of a significant volume of data for various stakeholders (including Data Visualization, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts) in the GSP (Global Support for Performance which is the GBS Finance of the Orange Group). You will work with a focus on overall satisfaction, taking into

Demonstrated ability to work with both technical and business teams (Supply Chain, Purchasing, Finance, Sales, Customer
Services, Digital)
Familiarity with the Data and AI ecosystem (Cloudera Data Platform, Google Cloud Platform, etc.), data processing value chain and data security challenges
Good grasp of data analysis methods (statistical theory, algorithmics), computer technologies for manipulating databases (Oracle, Postgres, NoSQL, etc.) and frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Oozie, Nifi, Jupyter, Kafka, etc.
Proficiency in programming languages (SQL, Scala, Python, Java, Shell, etc.) that enable you to be autonomous in data manipulation
Experience with BI and data visualization tools (e.g Power BI, etc.)
Strong statistical skills, mastery of predictive models and ability to adapt and harmonize them to different contexts
Capability of quickly upskilling in new domains and new technologies
Experience with agile methodologies and associated tools (Scrum, Confluence, Jira, etc.)
Good working proficiency in English
