- Taking responsibility for the complex accounting and financial reporting
- Controlling and coordinating the monthly closing process and other accounting processes
- Liaising with customers, (tax) advisors, lawyers, auditors and other professionals
- Supervising subordinates by coordinating, organizing, reviewing, and controlling all accounting matters
- Planning, organizing and controlling projects and workload of the team
- Offering professional solutions and advice to subordinates and customers
- Improving pro-actively accounting, reconciliation and operation process with a direction towards automation
- University Degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance/ Mathematics/Business administration or similar
- 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting. Experience in similar positions would be an advantage
- Good communication skills - fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting standards and best practices
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team leadership skills
- Experience working with multiple customers would be considered as an advantage
- Good time management and planning skills
- Ability to work independently, be proactive, take ownership and responsibility
- Good MS office skills different ERP systems experience would be an advantage
- IT savviness and the ability to foresee and engage the reporting and accounting process improvement would be an advantage
