We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:MS SQL Application Database AdministratorResponsibilities: - Improvement of existing Database Inventory tool to ensure compliance/compliance.
- Understanding current application design and developing, implementing, and supporting automation of existing common or complex activities to simplify design and processing.
- Provide solutions based on customer requirements.
- Design and create reports and monitoring dashboards to ensure service observability.
- Support users with best practices and technical queries.
- Support the existing team and share knowledge when necessary.
- Some administrative work related to ordering items from other teams, managing workload and change management processes.Requirements: - MSSQL application administrator experience.
- Ability to work with Git and GitHub.
- Experience using a scripting language or programming.
- Ability to understand and simplify database design.
- Experience using agile ways of working.
- Ability and willingness to work independently.
- Proactive approach with a high sense of ownership.
- Good verbal and written communication skills as the position requires interaction with multiple stakeholders around the world + Senior Management.Nice to have:
- Experience with automation products such as Ansible and Jenkins.
- Previous experience with simplifying application design
