We are investing heavily across these domains with a strategic focus on increasing adoption of AI capabilities through our flagship AI journeys, day-to-day engineering and overall ways of working. To accelerate achieving our vision, we are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join our team. The role will be Poland based but will work with our teams globally.The team goal is to develop AI-based solutions to increase bank efficiency and reduce the cost. Most of the usecases are related to document (onboarding, KYC, transfer confirmations etc) digitalization process using ML & GenAI.Your tasks

Building production-ready models to drive content extraction and classification from images and text-based sources.
Working closely with business teams to understand requirements and iteratively design and develop solutions.
Collaborative with product managers, technical teams.
Create, test and iterate new and existing products and features.
Designing and building Python/ML/OCR-based components.
Not only supporting the development of the product, but also the full lifecycle including the deployment, testing and production support of the application.

Your skillsStrong programming skills in Python or JavaExperience in building and deploying APIs with FastAPI or Spring BootHands-on experience with Machine Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)Familiarity with OCR technologies and NLP techniques for document processingExperience in building production-ready ML solutions, including model training, evaluation, and deploymentSolid understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD, and version control (Git)Experience working with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)Knowledge or practical experience with Generative AI (GenAI)Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional, global teamsNice-to-have:Familiarity with Microsoft Azure (Azure ML, Cognitive Services)Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and cloud-native services for ML/AIUnderstanding of MLOps practices (model monitoring, retraining, pipelines)Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and handling unstructured dataExperience in financial services or document-intensive environments (onboarding, KYC, payments, compliance)Interest in scaling AI solutions and optimizing performance for enterprise-grade systemsWe offer
