Collaborate with development teams to understand architecture and design effective validation frameworks. Innovate testing methods for EdgeWorkers, one of Akamai`s newest Edge Computing Solutions.As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for:

Working on more than one QA project at a time, efficiently managing time and prioritizing test efforts.
Taking ownership of testing in your product area, creating test strategies and delivering high quality software solutions.
Debugging systems and developing tools/test frameworks, as well as automation of functional and system test processes.
Owning quality of products and their performance on our content delivery platform to satisfy customer demands.
Collaborating with other software engineering teams to influence and shape the design process and product development.

Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:

Possess relevant experience and an equivalent background in Computer Science or Engineering.
Develop test scripts and automation for distributed systems using Java, Ruby, Shell scripting, Python.
Gain experience with internet technologies like TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS; utilize Unix or Linux operating systems.
Have performance testing experience with tools like JMeter, K6.
Utilize performance testing tools, automate workflows, integrate tests into CI/CD release pipelines effectively.
Manage projects independently, meet deadlines efficiently, and operate effectively with minimal supervision.
