It's an exciting time to join us.Job DescriptionHow You'll Contribute:By joining the finance team as a Accountant, you'll play a key role in the Global financial operations of Docplanner. You'll be responsible for processing accounting records in accordance with IFRS, on time, and in compliance with both internal and external requirements. If you're detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to grow in a dynamic and supportive environment-we'd love to meet you!Key Responsibilities:Processing accounting records in accordance with IFRS and local statutory guidelines to ensure compliance and accuracy within the corporate books.Executing daily accounting operations, such as processing vendor bills, customer invoices, payments, and managing bank statement accounting, while collaborating with various departments for seamless execution.Playing a key role in the Month-End process by recording journal entries such as accruals, deferred expenses, reclassifications, and adjustments, as well as performing variance analysis and validating accounting balances.Supporting the local finance team in preparing financial statements and tax declarations.Performing reconciliations that vary in complexity, from basic reconciliations of vendor and customer balances to more complex general ledger reconciliations.Participating in the implementation of financial and accounting projects, including the integration of group policies and procedures and the onboarding of new subsidiaries into the Accounting Hub in Warsaw.QualificationsWe're Looking For:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics is expected, and an additional Master's degree or accounting certification is preferred.
- An understanding the fundamental principles of accounting
- 4+ years working in a similar role
- Experience working on ERP finance applications
- Microsoft skills (Excel is a must)
- You want to learn, develop yourself, actively propose improvements, and you're meticulous. Like Sherlock Holmes, you are sensitive to even the smallest detail!
- Fluency in Polish and English is a must
- Spanish or Italian language skills are an added bonus too!
