And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!Job DescriptionRockwell Automation is looking for an Automation Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. You'll help build, maintain, and enhance automation solutions that support our global technology operations, working closely with other engineers and cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and reliability.You will report to the Senior IT Manager located in USA and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.Your Responsibilities:

Support the design and implementation of automation solutions for infrastructure and application environments using CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
Develop scripts and automation workflows for system provisioning, configuration management, and basic environment monitoring using tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
Assist in automating and maintaining build, test, and deployment pipelines for cloud and on-premises environments.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to deliver automation initiatives that improve delivery speed and quality.
Participate in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues in automation workflows, escalating complex issues.
Contribute to documentation of automation processes, configurations, and best practices.
Monitor production and staging environments to help ensure availability and performance.
Stay current with automation tools and practices, applying new knowledge in daily work.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
1-3 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar technical automation role.
Working knowledge of infrastructure concepts (systems, cloud, networking basics).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Bash).
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code or configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Basic understanding of monitoring and logging tools.
Proficient in English, allowing collaboration with a global team.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

Experience working in a production or staging IT environment.
Familiarity with ITSM tools or asset/configuration management databases.
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes).
