- Manage and develop the R2R team across multiple countries, including Team Leaders and Junior Managers.
- Provide coaching, feedback, training, and ensure knowledge sharing and business continuity.
- Represent the R2R team in cross-functional and finance forums.
- Oversee all R2R processes (GL, FA, Intercompany, Inventory, Cash Management, Reporting).
- Monitor performance against KPIs and SLAs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
- Lead transitions of activities from countries into the SSC and drive automation and standardisation.
- Keep process documentation updated and align departmental goals with company strategy.
- Ensure adherence to IFRS/GAAP standards, corporate policies, and internal controls.
- Identify and mitigate risks in financial reporting, closing, and reconciliations.
- Support audits, manage incidents, and implement improvements in risk management.
- Build strong relationships with Local Finance, Group Control, FP&A, Tax, and auditors.
- Manage escalations and ensure clear communication across functions and external partners.
- Secure customer experience in line with best industry practices.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing, general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany and fixed assets.
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reports and ensure consistency across the organisation.
- Lead local and global projects, supporting the transition to a more standardised, automated R2R model.
- University degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- 5+ years of managerial experience, including leading teams of 10+ people.
- Solid background in Record-to-Report (GL, FA, Intercompany, Reporting) with good knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Proven experience in process improvements, change management, and project delivery.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills – ability to develop, motivate, and guide your team.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a multicultural environment.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite or similar ERP systems.
- Knowledge of additional languages.
- Willingness to travel internationally (up to 25%).
