· Advance in-vehicle infotainment, safety, efficiency, and enjoymentAbout the RoleWe're seeking a skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Engineer to join our global automotive team. In this role, you'll contribute to cybersecurity efforts across embedded and cloud-based platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams to review architecture, guide secure development, and support the design and validation of security features. You will also be involved in the quotation process to assess threats, evaluate risks, and estimate cost and effort for secure product delivery.What You Will Do
- Participate in security design, implementation reviews, and testing activities for automotive products
- Analyze and assess cybersecurity aspects of embedded or cloud-based systems
- Execute risk treatment plans by recommending security designs and controls
- Perform secure design and code reviews
- Collaborate with developers and architects to integrate cybersecurity best practices and tools
- Support threat analysis and risk assessments across multiple projects
- Prepare and conduct internal and external security training sessions
- Contribute to the development of security validation and verification tools
- Evaluate cybersecurity tools and technologies and help shape future product security
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals: secure boot, encryption, authentication, identity management
- 4+ years of software development experience in embedded systems using C, C++, or ASM
- Familiarity with cybersecurity risk assessment and security testing methodologies
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- Passion for cybersecurity and the automotive industry
- Excellent team collaboration and communication skills
- Have experience in automotive security (Tier-1 supplier or OEM preferred)
- Possess strong knowledge of automotive technologies such as CAN, automotive Ethernet, diagnostics, software updates, or telematics
- Have experience in IoT or embedded systems security architecture
- Are familiar with offensive security tools (e.g., penetration testing tools)
- Understand OS-level security principles
- Are a self-motivated learner with a drive to grow in the automotive cybersecurity field
- Willing to travel up to 20%, both domestically and internationally
- Hold a valid work permit
