Every day, we work as a Tier 2 FMCG commodity supplier for major players in the food industry. You are probably already consuming products from our Kerry factory in Olesnica. We have been here for more than 20 years and are still growing.Key responsibilities
- 50% of time spent on factory floor, observing processes, people and procedures. In exceptional circumstances, shift work may be required.
- Manages the production activities, ensuring Direct Factory Costs (DFC) are optimised e.g. OTIF
- Profit Improvement Programme (PIP) creation, achieve 5% reduction in costs (DFC) compared to previous year.
- Organises production activities, delegates duties, responsibilities and allocates work. Works with the planning department, to ensure customer orders are produced on time.
- Responsible for an optimum alignment of staffing, machine capacity and raw materials and consumables.
- Works closely with the maintenance department to ensure Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules are followed.
- In collaboration with the Safety Manager - Carry out root cause analysis on all incidences to ensure prevention of reoccurrences.
- Initiates possible improvements to production installations and machinery and the quality of the processes.
- Coordinates with Process Engineer, Quality Engineer, Supply Chain and Maintenance manager to makes investment proposals.
- Ensures all people issues are dealt with effectively through concise communication and quality conversations. Coaches and develops direct reports.
- Solid experience in a (production) management job in the food and/or chemical industry.
- Knowledge of the relevant legislation and regulations (Occupational Health & Safety, the environment and quality)
- Experience in change and project management.
- Experience with the ERP (SAP) systems
- Proficient with MS Office
- Excellent written and spoken command of English and local language.
- Team building skills.

- Evidence of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to coach and develop others.
- CI tools knowledge ( eg. 5WHY , A3 , ISHIKAWA diagram )
