In this role, you will be responsible for performing general accounting and reporting tasks, ensuring accuracy of financial data and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and support the month-end and year-end closing processes.Duties & Responsibilities
- Performing GL operational activities such as posting accruals, prepayments, etc.
- Making sure all month end closing activities are performed accurately and timely.
- Effective cooperation with other teams, such as Payroll, AP, Cash Application, VAT, Credit Control.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ownership of all GL accounts, follow-up of outstanding items with other teams.
- Analysis of variances and fluctuations in P&L and BS.
- At least 2 years experience in accounting department (GL preferably).
- Fluency in English both written and spoken.
- Working knowledge of SAP is a must
- Good knowledge of modern accounting practices.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Very good communication skills.
- Multi-tasking, ability to work with deadlines.
- Self-reliant, proactive, and highly motivated.
