The business unit has end-to-end responsibility from Sales through to commissioning of completed systems.Wärtsilä Gas Solutions offers systems and solutions related a number of oil & within the gas segments. The scope includes marine LNG and LPG cargo systems, fuel gas systems for marine vessels, onshore gas terminals and biogas systems.Main tasks and responsibilities:Develop and implement efficient and reliable PLC software for Gas Solutions Control SystemsCollaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration of PLC solutions into overall control system architectureDevelop relevant project / product documentationTake part in technical clarifications related to own scope of deliveryPerform test of own or others software (peer review) to ensure control system performance in accordance with requirements.Qualifications:Higher technical education (min. Bachelor) in Automation, Electrical engineering, or related fieldMinimum 3 years in control systems engineering with emphasis on PLC programming (TIA portal knowledge is required)Proficient in PLC programming languages, with a focus on FBD and STLGood knowledge of software architectureGood understanding of hardware system designFluent English language skills, both verbally and writtenKnowledge of automation designExperience with software testing / peer review.Personal qualities:We are looking for persons with genuine interest in electrical and automation systems, that are: task and result oriented, structured, team oriented and enthusiastic about new challenges.
