Based on patented and innovative solutions, such as Air Liquide’s Autothermal Reformer (ATR), Partial Oxidation Reactor (POx) or its Sulfur Recovery Units (Lurgi OxyClaus™) for customers worldwide, this position is at the forefront of AL E&C. Unique and benchmark-setting equipment design are one of the key pillars that brought AL E&C to its current market position, where you are going to have a chance to shape the future of it!
Embedded in a motivated and agile team, that comprises of various competencies like computational experts or materials engineering specialists, this position acts also in close collaboration with Lurgi Technology teams, Air Liquide’s R&D centers and other engineering disciplines.
By this, you are going to perform as an enabler for Air Liquide’s technology leadership in the hydrogen driven energy transition and to reduce the CO2 footprint of chemical plants of Air Liquide and its customers.Key responsibilities:Preparation of detailed 3D models using SolidWorks 3DPreparation all required specifications and guide drawings based on data sheetsLead Engineer activities (planning, tracking)Interdisciplinary coordinationClose exchange with vendors: inquiries, technical negotiationsInspection and expediting at vendor workshopsSite activitiesAre you a MATCH?Competencies and Profile:Ready to take challenges on innovative mechanical designsDegree in Mechanical Engineering, or similarMin. 5 years of experiences in the design of pressure vesselsExperience in design/ fabrication for static equipment, including reactors and heat exchangersFamiliarity with established design codes (e.g. ASME Sect VIII, AD 2000 and/or EN-13445)Developed skills in CAD 2D/3D of pressure equipment, preferably in SolidworksExperience in welding - International welding expert is preferredEnglish fluentOur Differences make our PerformanceAt Air Liquide, we are committed to build a diverse and inclusive workplace that embraces the diversity of our employees, our customers, patients, community stakeholders and cultures across the world.We welcome and consider applications from all qualified applicants, regardless of their background.
