Join us and make a difference!Your future team:The Section Manager will be managing a growing team of approx. 8 employees – the mechanical CAD team a part of ROCKWOOL Group Technology. The CAD team is a part of a larger CAD and Quality Assurance team in the main office in Hedehusene.What you will be doing:The Section Manager will manage the team, assuming responsibility for goal setting, planning and organizing of tasks, maintaining standards for CAD design as well as joint development of these. In addition to this you will be required to:Assign, prioritize and help to evaluate time required for tasks,Set and manage expectations around work allocation,Support employees to manage their time effectively in order to meet the requirements of the business,Quality control and guidance to ensure outputs in line with CAD manual and good engineering practice,Engage with project engineers in GT at to ensure correct prioritization of tasks, adjustment of deadlines, and to resolve issues related to quality and expectations,Provide timely feedback and maintain professional communication with relevant stakeholders,Provide leadership, motivation and mentoring to the team with a view to aligning them with goals and ensuring they have a high performance,Proactively address people related issues by maintaining close relationship with employees and help each individual in the team to develop,Support development of new tools and processes,Support the remaining GT team in Poznan and be a part of the smaller local leadership team (3 managers).What you bring:Min. 3 years of experience in people management;Work experience as a mechanical designer in an international environment would be an asset;Knowledge of Inventor, AutoCAD and Vault;Strong knowledge in other AutoDesk software;Ability to introduce necessary improvements and simple solutions;Strong organizational skills and attention to details; Strong problem solving and analytical skills;Excellent communication skills, results-oriented, and service-minded;Fluency in EnglishWhat we offer:By joining our team, you become a part of the people-centric work environment of a Danish company.
