- Ensure all products comply with REACH regulations, including chemical registration, evaluation, and restriction requirements.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to verify material compliance and gather necessary data.
- Analyze Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and technical specifications for substances used in aerospace components.
- Maintain up-to-date records and databases of chemical compositions and regulatory statuses.
- Work with engineering, procurement, and quality teams to assess the impact of new regulations on existing products and processes.
- Prepare compliance reports and support audits, providing required documentation to internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify risks related to restricted substances and proactively propose solutions to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Support development and implementation of material substitution strategies for non-compliant substances.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Support supplier communications and audits to verify compliance across the supply chain.
- Monitor updates to REACH and similar environmental regulations, ensuring the organization stays compliant.
- Identify process improvements to streamline compliance activities and enhance data accuracy
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 1-3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, materials engineering, or environmental standards.
- Knowledge of REACH regulations, chemical management processes, and related global standards.
- Proficiency in interpreting Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and technical documents.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and analyze large sets of compliance data.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data management systems.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience working in aerospace, automotive, or other highly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with tools and platforms used for material compliance tracking.
- Basic knowledge of alternative materials and substitution processes.
- Experience in supplier communication and audit support.
