The site covers 4 main Food testing streams: microbiology, chemistry, sensory and milk testing. The site headcount is 90 professionals including logistics hub for Food testing Poland. We are looking for an experienced and talented Business Unit Manager to drive this Team and Organization forward.Key accountabilities:
  • Develop the Lab operations both in terms of volume and process efficiency.
  • Deliver high quality analysis services to external customers.
  • Ensure high quality and timely delivery of service (in line with Eurofins Operational Excellence).
  • Drive lean organization and strive for efficiency.
  • Meet the operational and financial targets as defined by the Group.
  • Hold the Lab personnel responsibility with a clear focus on engagement and capability development.
  • Direct leadership of the Lab management team including selection and performance management.
  • Develop organizational culture aligned with Eurofins DNA and values.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and Group Quality standards.
QualificationsKey requirements:
  • Degree in a related scientific discipline (e.g. life science) or business.
  • At least 5 years of operations management experience preferably with a P&L accountability.
  • Experience from TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) nice to have but not required. We are open to candidates with industrial / manufacturing / complex services backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • At least basic managerial P&L / financial acumen.
  • Practical exposure to Lean and other Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Strong drive for results and hands-on way of working.
  • Fluent Polish and English.
