- Represent Relativity's AI strategy, key product efforts, and teams/functions in Poland.
- Represent Relativity at industry conferences, events, and with customers.
- Working with other AI leaders, recruit and build a cross-functional AI team (data engineering, applied science, feature development)via industry talks and posts, candidate outreach, networking, and partnerships.
- Lead large initiatives from an investment perspective via clear prioritization, thoughtful resource allocation, sweating the details, and great communication to inspire the team.
- Lead collaboration with our engineering teams, data scientists, and product managers to bring ideas from proof of concept to scaled solution.
- Prioritize technical investments roadmap and help prioritize tech debt and architecture investments.
- Mentor talent within the AI engineering team to promote career development, risk taking, innovation, and create a culture of learning.
- Inspire others with a compelling vision and a plan of how AI technology can transform Relativity.
- Advise senior company and technology leadership on innovative tech for either partnership or acquisition.
- Encourage innovation and data curiosity and the use of data at scale.
- Working with other AI leaders, evolve our AI operating model to be multi-office and global in reach.
- Own key features, technology functions, and teams within the AI strategy; this ownership will evolve over time as the Poland team grows.
- Assist other US leaders with Poland-based staffing to make the most of their team's talents and gifts, mentoring teams and individuals as needed.
- Develop the practices to effectively and efficiently onboard engineers and grow our AI skillsets in the Poland office.
- Be a part of the Poland Engineering leadership team - continuous optimization of the engineering practices.
- Experience leveraging data for knowledge retrieval, search, and ML/AI based solutions in production environments for mission critical use cases.
- Experience within a cloud environment leveraging big data infrastructure, data processing, and data science toolset and cloud native component selection.
- Experience with privacy standards such as GDPR and CCPA.
- Experience building and leading software teams and organizations, key initiatives, and transformation strategies within a global, scaled software organization.
- Proven leadership skills and track record of delivering complex technical solutions.
- Experience selecting products, tool, and vendor negotiation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience collaborating with data science teams with conceptual knowledge on data science project lifecycles and techniques.
- Experience creating processes and systems to manage data quality.
- Experience running systems in either AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Experience in modern programming languages and compute environments in cloud environments.
- Experience in a SaaS/Cloud environment with distributed teams and systems.
- Experience launching new products.
- Experience managing BI and creating customer insights/dashboards.
- Experience in machine learning and statistics.
- Compensation Relativity is committed to competitive, fair and equitable compensation practices
- This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, annual performance bonus target of 10%, and long-term incentives. The expected salary range for this role is between 384000 and 576000 gross/year (Employment Contract). The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
