
Regional Consolidations Accountant, EMEA

- Support the preparation and submission of monthly and annual consolidated financial statements, ensuring IFRS compliance and clarity in reporting.
- Manage key aspects of the audit process, including preparing technical memos and liaising with internal and external auditors.
- Complete selected statutory accounts and reporting packages, ensuring accuracy and adherence to local GAAP and governance standards.
- Drive reporting process improvements through automation, standardization, and system enhancements to increase efficiency and control.
- Oversee reconciliation tasks, cash and bank reconciliations, and selected accounting treatments including IFRS 16 and intercompany eliminations.
- Substantial experience in financial reporting and consolidation within a multinational organization.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and experience working in a J-SOX control environment.
- Hands-on experience with year-end audits, complex group consolidations, and intercompany accounting.
- Expertise in balance sheet reconciliations, foreign exchange revaluations, and journal entry preparation.
- Experience contributing to successful finance transformation, reporting process improvement, and compliance initiatives.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a strong technical background.
- Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills; additional language skills are a plus.
- Proficiency in SAP, BPC, and advanced Excel; familiarity with Blackline and reporting automation tools.
- Experience within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other highly regulated industries.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence and work across finance, business, and audit functions.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent; advanced degree or certification preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
- Detail-oriented and organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communicator with the ability to explain technical topics to non-finance stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience supporting change management, automation, and process improvement in finance.

- This position is based in Warsaw (Poland)
- This is a permanent role based in our Global Capability Centre in Warsaw, Poland and hybrid working with the expectation for some office presence. Flexibility may be required in line with business need. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
