- being responsible for overseeing and managing Freight Cost functions
- acting decisively and engaging effectively with key stakeholders
- serving as a single point of contact for any Freight Cost issues and escalating if required
- managing freight bill disputes directly with freight forwarders
- validating information with OpCos and requesting approvals when required
- liaising with the Continuous Improvement team to support implementing operational and system improvements
- providing ongoing visibility into freight cost activities and performance - monitoring against SLAs
- validating freight cost calculations
- approving costs for invoicing
- monitoring and managing extra cost claims, evidence, and approvals
- analyzing invoice mismatches informed by freight forwarders, comparing against OTM Rate cards, and identifying the reason code and root cause
- analyzing and optimizing freight cost settlement activities to standardize processes across OpCos
- focusing on service excellence by meeting the agreed response times and quality.
- 4-5 years' experience in Supply Chain
- bachelor Degree or equivalent, preferably in Management, Business, Logistics, or related field
- good understanding/experience with OTM
- understanding of transportation rules, regulations, standard processes and business policies
- experience working in freight bill audit processes
- ability to develop and manage client and carrier relationships
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency with Microsoft Office
- experience working for a multinational organization and working with colleagues internationally.
- University Degree in Management, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- experience working in a shared services, process driven or service center environment
- training and certification in Six Sigma or LEAN, or similar quality management experience
- FMCG/AlcoBev industry experience
- proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- excellent written and verbal English
- second language preferred.
