With a commitment to efficiency and innovation, Baltic Assist aims to be the go-to choice for seeking rewarding careers.What you'll be doingWe’re currently looking for a Senior Automation Tester to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of large-scale data solutions in a financial services environment.You’ll play a key role in designing and executing automated tests for ETL processes, data warehouses, and data migration projects. This role suits someone with a strong background in test automation and data validation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with both IT and business stakeholders to ensure accurate and trusted data delivery.How you’ll spend your day

Review new ETL and data warehouse requirements with the IT and business teams.
Design, plan, and update automated test cases for ETL processes and data pipelines.
Execute automated tests and monitor results to ensure data quality and integrity.
Investigate and troubleshoot data discrepancies or failures in ETL jobs.
Collaborate with developers and data engineers to resolve issues and improve processes.
Validate data migrations and transformations for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain and enhance the test automation framework and scripts.
Track defects, report test progress, and provide feedback to stakeholders.
Participate in meetings to plan releases, review test coverage, and align on priorities.

You'll be successful if you haveA minimum of 7+ years of work experience in Quality Assurance & testing process of which a minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation in Database, DW & ETL, framework experience in Banking domain (preferably Credit Risk)Expertise and sound knowledge in ETL/Data Ware House/Data Migration Testing & SQL JoinsHands on experience in Hadoop Ecosystem (HIVE and HDFS)Sound knowledge on Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD)Expertise in Test Automation framework, preferably Robot FrameworkExpertise in Python ScriptingExposure in Git and using Git commandsHands on experience in JenkinsGood communication skill to enable good collaboration with IT and Business stakeholdersWhat we offer
