Write and test product development code
Design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions using modern technologies
Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency)
Challenge vague requirements to gain clarity and avoid costly assumptions
Pro-actively takes part in the engineering initiatives around the product like cloud migrations, technical stack upgrades

UBS RecruitingYour teamYou'll be working in the Client Lifecycle Management, IB Operations team in Krakow. Diversity helps us grow, together. Solid experience in JVM programming languages (ideally Java11+) and design patterns
Proven track record of enterprise level application development for 5+ years
Experience with using relational databases.
Extensive experience of writing unit tests
Practical use of engineering best practices (SOLID, clean code)
Experience with Agile mode of working
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have:

Familiarity with Cloud based technologies / Kubernetes
experience in or willing to learn Java reactive programming/ Spring Webflux

springboot Microservices

experience with NoSQL databases (ideally MongoDB or CosmosDB)
