Your new companyFor our client from Cracow, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Oracle Engineer.Your new roleThe Databases Platform is dedicated to managing and optimising everything related to database technologies. The team specialises in delivering exceptional database solutions and services, ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance. You’ll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and solutions that drive efficiency and innovation across our data platform ecosystem.Your Responsibilities

Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation.
Automate tasks using Ansible.
Manage YUM repositories and create RPM packages.
Perform Linux system administration and troubleshooting in line with Oracle databases.
Administer and optimise Oracle database automation for performance and reliability.
Integrate APIs to streamline database operations.
Apply patches, upgrade, and troubleshoot database issues.
Collaborate with teams and ensure compliance with security standards.

What you'll need to succeed

Expertise in shell scripting, Ansible, and Linux administration.
Experience with YUM repositories and RPM packaging.
Experience and knowledge of Oracle or PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of APIs and SQL Server is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Good understanding of Agile Methodology.
Good understanding of DevOps practices and tools.

Optional

Certification in Oracle Database Administration.
Certification in Linux Administration.
Certification in SQL Server Database Administration.
