We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with SQL to join our client, a leading company in consulting and digital transformation.Project information:

Location: Wrocław, Poland
Work Setup: Hybrid - 2 days/week in office
Rate: 140 PLN/hour net + VAT (B2B contract)
Languages: English (B2+ Required)
Start date: ASAP/ depending on candidate availability

Project scope:

Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures
Implement and maintain automated database change processes using Liquibase (preferred) or Flyway
Work with MS SQL Server to ensure query performance, database optimization, and scalability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Scientists, Analysts, Developers) to ensure reliable data flows and integrations
Contribute to building efficient, automated CI/CD database pipelines (GitLab)
Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide solutions for process improvements
Ensure best practices in database security, performance, and data quality

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of SQL and stored database procedures
Proven experience with MS SQL Server (focus on optimization and performance tuning)
Hands-on experience with Liquibase (preferred) or Flyway
Familiarity with automating database deployments using GitLab pipelines or similar CI/CD tools
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
