The team drives technical change. Develop effective and competitive solutions that redefine the EDGE platform. Moreover, we ensure Akamai continues to be a stakeholder in the future of the world.Partner with the bestAs a Senior Product Manager, you'll be responsible for developing our network automation and network software product portfolio. You'll definine long-term product strategy, individual product life-cycles and roadmaps. You'll also coordinate those with the business unit management and sales representatives and align them with their go-to-market roadmaps.As a Product Manager Senior, you will be responsible for:
  • Defining Network Technologies' long-term product strategy, individual product life-cycles and roadmaps
  • Working directly with business units to evaluate and PoC new product innovations and execution for products
  • Developing comprehensive business analysis and financial models to support business cases and long-term product planning.
  • Acting as an expert in industry trends and the landscape relevant to the direct and adjacent markets
  • Developing and analyzing Network Technologies product KPI's and operational product metrics
  • Advising product teams, business units and other internal stakeholders
Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:
  • Have relevant experience and a solid understanding of Product Management principles
  • Have ability to assess new markets, analyze business opportunities and execute against them
  • Have a background in Product Management with Network and Software Engineering teams
  • Possess understanding of CDN, networking, interconnection and cloud technologies
  • Have understanding of product management discipline including product lifecycle management
  • Have ability to gather data from the market and customers to analytically determine business priorities
