Role summary

The Finance Analyst is the core of our Client Finance team. Ensuring financial control along with accurate and meaningful reporting and analysis; this will be a client facing, business partnering role, with exposure to various stakeholders in multiple functions.

Responsibilities

Full ownership of the financial management, performance and reporting of a portfolio of sites and countries, partnering with the local operational teams
Ensuring that all expenses and accruals are recorded accurately to timetable on a monthly basis
Month end activities – transaction postings and reconciliations
Responsible for budget building, forecasting, accruals and commentary analysis spend vs budget
Ensuring all tight monthly client deadlines are met on time
Focus on mitigating any KPI penalties
Training and supporting Operational teams in financial processes/reporting
Any other client & internal reporting and analysis and requests
Assist wider client team in developing and enhancing any deliverables
Cooperation with operational team (Client & Internal) to discuss monthly financial performance

Requirements

Fluent in English – spoken & written
Bachelor’s degree required – ideally in finance discipline or equivalent
2 years’ experience in a similar position (working with international teams and clients)
Candidate must demonstrate personal commitment with high velocity and “can do” attitude
Confident and articulate with an eye for detail
Proactive in identifying issues, solutions and implementing these
Self – supporting; diligent; will deliver to tight deadlines, positive
Customer Service: Commitment to solve requests and problems.
Client liaison; build strong collaborative partnership with client project managers;
Interpersonal and communication skills; being able to articulate finance to non-finance peers, build relationships
Ability to challenge stakeholders where required
Excellent Excel modelling skills, proficient in Word & PowerPoint
Experience of major ERP systems (Peoplesoft, SAP, JDEdwards) desirable
