Test Manager

• Validation of testing processes and outcomes to ensure alignment with regulations and standards specific to Core Banking Systems
• Develop and implement testing strategy: Define test goals, scope, levels, and techniques tailored to project needs
• Plan and manage testing activities: Organize test planning, scheduling, and resource allocation across the lifecycle
• Lead testing team: Mentor and guide a team of QA engineers, assigning responsibilities and supporting professional development
• Resource management: Allocate budget, personnel, and tools effectively for test operations
• Risk management: Identify and mitigate risks related to product quality, test execution, and delivery
• Test environment setup: Ensure appropriate environments are provisioned and maintained for all testing phases
• Defect management: Oversee the defect tracking and resolution process to maintain product quality
• Stakeholder communication: Report on testing progress, issues, and results to clients, management, and delivery teams
• Quality assurance: Ensure solutions meet internal standards and customer requirements before go-live
• Process improvement: Drive continuous improvements in testing methodologies and practices
• Utilize testing tools: Select and manage appropriate automation and test management tools
• Training & development: Foster a strong learning environment within the QA team
• Release management: Coordinate release planning, documentation, and post-deployment validation
• Change management: Adapt testing strategies in response to evolving project scope or requirements
• Post-release evaluation: Conduct evaluations and retrospectives to identify opportunities for improvement
• Availability to work in a hybrid mode - twice a week from the office

• 8+ years of experience in test strategy, automation frameworks, and test process management
• Expert-level programming knowledge (e.g., Java, Python, or equivalent)
• Deep familiarity with leading test automation tools and frameworks
• Experience in CI/CD implementation (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
• Proven track record of managing QA teams, including recruitment, coaching, and evaluation
• Strong test planning, risk management, and analytical capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Hands-on experience with data-driven testing and quality metrics
• Budgeting and resource management for testing initiatives
• Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, HP Quality Center
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to integrate QA within Agile workflows
• Experience in release coordination, rollback planning, and deployment documentation
• Familiarity with core banking systems and financial industry standards
• Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL (procedures, functions, complex queries)
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Advanced communication, presentation and documentation skills

• ISTQB certification or equivalent
• Experience in distributed and multicultural teams
• Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and automation-first environments
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the banking sector
